GP3: Another woman in the Jenzer team

American Juan Manuel Correa, who hails from Ecuador, only joined the team as a third driver for the last four races in 2017. Now he is tackling his first full GP3 season with Jenzer.
From Sauber F1 to Jenzer GP3
Interesting newcomers are Tatiana Calderón and David Beckmann. The Colombian will already complete her third GP3 season in the third different team. Her best result was seventh in Race 1 at Monza in 2017.
She is the fourth woman after Cyndie Allemann, Rahel Frey and Samin Gómez in the now 25-year history of Jenzer Motorsport. In 2017, the Sauber F1 Team included the soon-to-be 25-year-old Colombian from Noguera in its Young Driver Development Program.
Andreas Jenzer: "We had already tested with her once a year ago and most recently again in Abu Dhabi. She has potential, so I have a lot of confidence in her. A win will be difficult, but she could regularly finish in the points and maybe get to a podium."
Jenzer's third GP3 Junior is David Beckmann (D), who comes from the Formula 3 European Championship and finished 16th overall in 2017. Jenzer: "Beckmann was already a Red Bull Junior. We're hoping for a lot from him."
Although it only had two drivers in the race for a long time, Jenzer Motorsport finished third in the team standings in 2017. The goal for 2018 is to maintain or improve this position.
However, with Alessio Lorandi, who is moving to the champion team ART, and Arjun Maini (2018 in Formula 2), Jenzer had two winning drivers in the team last year. Jenzer: "It will certainly be tough again, but we are well positioned."
Full program in Formula 4 as well
In the Italian Formula 4 Championship, the Bernese team will be represented by up to six cars (Tatuus-Abarth F4). The only Swiss driver is Grégoire Saucy from the Jura, who already completed two F4 weekends with Jenzer in Mugello and Imola in the fall of 2017.
The team boss was impressed by the driving skills and human nature of the young Jurassic. "I have high hopes that with him we will once again have a Swiss rider in the team with whom we can achieve top results."
