The Livewire is said to reach 100 kilometers per hour in just over three seconds (top speed 177 km/h).
The motorcycle manufacturer announced that the all-electric Livewire will also be available for pre-order in Switzerland from April. In most European countries, delivery will take place in the fourth quarter of 2019.
Assistants create safety
The Livewire is equipped with the Electronic Chassis Control (ECC) system, which uses cornering ABS, Traction Control System (TCS) and Launch Control System (DSCS) to match front and rear braking forces and rear torque.
No need for coupling with the Livewire
At the rear wheel works a fully adjustable Showa BFRC (Balance Free Rear Cushion Light) mono-shock. The front wheel is guided by a Showa SFF-BP (Separate Function Fork - Big Piston) upside-down fork.
The Livewire is equipped with H-D Connect, which connects connectivity and cloud services to the Harley-Davidson app via cellular communications using the LTE standard.
