We still have a long way to go, but the ABT Cupra Team has now taken that first step in its Formula E debut in Mexico City. I would like to congratulate Nico and Robin and wish Robin a good recovery and a quick return. Here's to seeing him back on the race track soon."
Successful operation still on site

In the race, Frijns got into a collision early on and retired. The Dutchman suffered a hand fracture and has already undergone successful surgery on site.
Data analysis and then into the simulator
Nico Müller: "The whole team and I learned an enormous amount this weekend - we're taking that positively with us. When we get home, it's off to analyze the data and then into the simulator, because fortunately the next race is already in two weeks."
The premier class of electric racing delivered an inspiring debut in Mexico City against a unique backdrop that gives cause for optimism for the rest of the season. The second stop on the Formula E calendar is Diriyah in Saudi Arabia, where two races will be held on January 27 and 28.
