The fifth round of the 2019/20 ABB FIA Formula E Championship, the fourth this year, was due to take place on March 21 in Sanya in the Chinese province of Hainan. There is also discussion in Formula 1 circles about canceling the Chinese GP. The fourth round of the 2020 World Championship is scheduled for the weekend of April 17-19 in Shanghai.
