Formula 4: Swiss eagerly await season opener

After the positive impressions from the test in Oschersleben, Moritz Müller-Crepon is also ready for the season opener.

Moritz Müller-Crepon (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Marylin Niederhauser (Rennsport Rössler) are already starting their second Formula 4 season. Ricardo Feller (kfzteile24 Mücke Motorsport) and Fabio Scherer (Jenzer Motorsport) are two newcomers. The test day on Monday consisted of four sessions, with three sessions on Tuesday. These were spread throughout the day, alternating with the ADAC GT Masters series and, on Tuesday, also alternating with the ADAC TCR Germany.

Media focus on Monday
The main focus of the media was also on April 4th, as this was also the official media day. Moritz Müller-Crepon completed a total of 99 laps and finished in positions twelve, seven, eleven and 15. His conclusion was positive: "I'm very happy to be back in the car at Oschersleben. I'm happy with how the test sessions went, it was a good day," said the 19-year-old.

Marylin Niederhauser completed a total of 89 laps on Monday and finished in 35th, 36th, 35th and 37th place. The 20-year-old noted that she has settled in well with her new team. "My Rennsport Rössler team and I are becoming more and more of a unit and working together is becoming more and more natural. The season could start straight away for me. I can hardly wait for the first race weekend to start," she said.

The aim of the test was to boost confidence in the car and prepare for the first race of the season at the same venue. The season opener in Oschersleben (April 15-17) is just seven days away.
