Romain Grosjean has driven for Haas F1 since 2016, the American team's first season. Kevin Magnussen joined in 2017.
2019 will be the Geneva-based driver's ninth year in Formula 1. Before Haas, Grosjean drove for Renault for half a season (2009) and for Lotus from 2012 to 2015.
Of 137 Grands Prix so far, the 32-year-old family man has already finished ten races on the podium, although never as a Haas driver.

The goal is 100 points
In only its third GP season, the Ferrari customer team is currently fifth in the Constructors' World Championship with 76 points, just 15 points behind Renault and 18 ahead of McLaren. The goal for the season is 100 points, with which it hopes to consolidate or even improve this position.
For team boss Günther Steiner, the fact that Grosjean, like Magnussen, has contributed a lot to this is one reason for the contract extension.
Günther Steiner: "Right from the start, we needed experienced drivers like them to drive us as a team and constructor. From 2017 to now, we've taken a giant step. So it's clear that we're sticking with our drivers."
The Geneva native is happy to remain in Formula 1.
Romain Grosjean: "It's impressive what the team has achieved in such a short time. As a driver from the very beginning, it fills me with pride to have contributed to this."

When will the first podium with Haas follow?
His best result with Haas so far is fourth place at this year's Austrian GP in Spielberg. The next goal for Grosjean will be to improve by at least one place and thus achieve the first podium for Haas F1 this year.
