Return: Monisha Kaltenborn only managed the Sauber team for a few races last year, after which she was replaced and is now returning to the race tracks as a team co-owner in Formula 4.

KDC stands for Kaltenborn and di Comberti. Monisha Kaltenborn and her equally motorsport-minded business partner Emily di Comberti, an entrepreneur from a French-Monegasque family, each own 50 percent of the team.

KDC Racing is already participating in the Formula 4 championships in Germany and Italy next season. The team races with a Swiss license.

The aim, he says, is to offer young drivers a top platform to prepare them for a further racing career and, in particular, Formula 1.

The team's technical infrastructure is in Granollers, which is in the neighborhood of Barcelona's Circuit di Catalunya. The drivers will be announced shortly.
