Ferrari: Virtual concept car with 1030 hp 🎥
VIDEO GRAN TURISMO Ferrari unveils the Vision Gran Turismo, the first concept car developed specifically for the Gran Turismo video game series. The single-seater is to be powered by a V6 engine and three electric motors.
Ferrari presents its first concept for the world of virtual motorsport. The Vision Gran Turismo, a monoposto with closed wheel arches, has its roots in Maranello's long racing tradition - the number 75 on the vehicle's flanks is a symbol of this heritage. With the presentation of the Vision Gran Turismo, the brand is now concluding the 75th anniversary celebrations of the 125 S, the first Ferrari racing car.
On the one hand, the Vision Gran Turismo signifies a step in the virtual environment for Ferrari, and on the other, it serves as an indication of a redefinition of the Ferrari design language. The design was created at Centro Stile under the direction of chief designer Flavio Manzoni. The model draws inspiration from the legendary sports prototypes of the 1960s and 1970s.
Performance and passion in abundance
The concept car boasts a 120° V6 biturbo engine with a displacement of three liters, which is also installed in the 296 GTB, 296 GTS and 296 GT3 models as well as the 499P. In the concept car, however, the unit delivers considerably more, with 758 kW (1030 hp) at 9000 rpm, and a further 240 kW (326 hp) is provided by the three electric motors - one on the rear axle and one each on the front wheels.
Sophisticated controls equip the virtual model with unsurpassed agility and outstanding handling. This gives gamers an authentic feeling of the maximum achievable limits and performance capabilities of the vehicle.
