Sandro Fehr dominates the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup 2024 with four wins in a row. Exciting races await us in Ambri and Chamblon.

Sandro Fehr seems to be unbeatable. The defending champion from Rorschacherberg also set the clear fastest time in the fourth race of the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup 2024. The 37-year-old from St. Gallen dominated the race, which was held on May 18 as part of the Slalom de Bure, and thus cemented his overall lead in this year's championship. Fehr leads the overall standings after four of seven races with a maximum of 80 points, ahead of Rico Thomann with 62 and Michaël Béring with 60 points.

14 starters
Behind Fehr, the Flammer Speed Team was successful in Bure. Patrick Flammer and Reto Steiner celebrated a joint podium with second and third place. The veteran and overall third Michaël Béring, who finished second in the last race in Bière, narrowly missed out on the podium in Bure and finished fourth. Rico Thomann, who had finished third in each of the first three races, had to make do with fifth place. A total of 14 participants competed in Bure.

Tension remains
The 2024 season of the Suzuki Swiss Racing Cup remains exciting - there are still three races to go, with the next two races taking place in Ambri next weekend before the season finale in Chamblon on the weekend of June 22 and 23. The competition is in full swing - despite Sandro Fehr's dominance, the decision on the coveted podium places is still a long way off.
