With more than 20 million visitors, Wunderland is one of Germany's most popular attractions. One reason for its success is the different themed worlds, which are lovingly modeled and in which guests can immerse themselves.
In the total of nine areas, such as Switzerland, the USA or South America, the Principality of Monaco will be added in 2022. Fittingly, Christopher Zöchling started the season opener in Monte-Carlo with the logo of the Hamburg attraction on his Porsche 911 GT3 Cup.
Little Monaco a highlight for motorsport fans
Gerrit Braun, founder of the Miniature Wonderland: "Our Monaco section will be an absolute highlight, especially for motorsport fans, with numerous details relating to the GP weekend."
To make the action with Fach Auto Tech memorable, a miniature version of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup was created, with which Christopher Zöchling competed in the first race of the year, finishing fourth. The model is built in 1:87 ratio and you can see it later on the world's largest model railway layout.
Team boss Alex Fach: "I have been to Miniatur Wunderland several times as a visitor and am a huge fan. The fact that we are now becoming part of it all makes me very proud."
Miniatur Wunderland in the live broadcast
Alex Fach is very satisfied with the joint campaign of the racing team from the canton of Schwyz and the popular attraction in northern Germany: "It was important to us to use synergies and to appeal to new fans through joint coverage. So the Miniatur Wunderland was incorporated into the live broadcast during the race."
