A powerful driver duo, a well-established team and strong partners - the prerequisites for a successful season in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup are good. Alongside Philipp Frommenwiler, who is completing his second full season in the specialist team, Matteo Cairoli will take to the wheel.
"We are very well positioned and will have a say in the top places this year," said team boss Alex Fach at the presentation in the Porsche Center Zurich. "Matteo and Philipp make a very good team. Matteo showed with his results last year that he has what it takes to win. And Philipp is also capable of making the podium this year."
The season opener of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will be held from May 13 to 15 as part of Formula 1 in Barcelona. A first test of strength with the competition will follow beforehand at the official Supercup test drives in the Spanish metropolis.
