After the most successful DTM season in the company's history with winning all three championship titles, twelve victories, twelve pole positions, twelve fastest laps and 40 of 54 possible podium positions, the task for the Head of Audi Motorsport had been pretty easy.

Dieter Gass: "After such a great season, the famous motto can only apply: Never change a winning team! From my point of view, we had by far the strongest driver squad in the DTM last year. That's why I'm very pleased that we can continue to rely on the same six drivers in 2020."

Müller's seventh DTM season with Audi
The spearhead of the line-up is reigning DTM Champion René Rast (33). In his first three DTM years with Audi, the German has clinched two championship titles, one runner-up championship and 17 victories. He is currently the driver to beat in the DTM.

Nico Müller gave it a go in 2019 and narrowly missed out as runner-up. The soon-to-be 28-year-old from Berne has four DTM victories to his credit after his most successful season to date. Müller has been under contract with Audi and active in Europe's most popular touring car series since 2014.

Like Rast, Jamie Green (37) has already been successful 17 times. The Briton will be tackling his 16th DTM season in 2020. With 193 starts, he is the most experienced driver in the Audi squad.

Same team composition
German Mike Rockenfeller (36), who lives in Landschlacht on Lake Constance, is another DTM Champion on board. The 2010 Le Mans winner and 2013 DTM Champion has won six DTM races so far - all with Audi.

Dutchman Robin Frijns (28) was on the podium several times in his first two DTM years with Audi and narrowly missed his first full podium at the Nürburgring in 2019.

The factory line-up of the four rings in the 2020 DTM is completed by Loïc Duval (37). The breakdown among the three Audi Sport teams Abt Sportsline (Frijns/Müller), Phoenix (Duval/Rockenfeller) and Rosberg (Green/Rast) remains unchanged.

Chance for Fabio Scherer
WRT Team Audi Sport will again field two Audi RS 5 DTM cars of its own. With Ed Jones (24) from the United Arab Emirates and Fabio Scherer (20) from Lucerne, the Belgians are again giving two young drivers a chance in the DTM.

Next week, the Audi drivers will prepare for the new DTM season at Lanzarote. From March 16 to 18, official tests are scheduled at Monza. The 2020 DTM starts at Zolder, Belgium, on April 25/26.
