Downforce: Two Swiss go to the start 🎥
PREMIERE The new motorsport project Downforce Motorsports will start at the end of April at the Hockenheimring in the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany and launch two LMP3 bolides under the operational management of JVO Racing.
JVO Racing by Downforce starts the season with two cars. The constellation is new, but the experience is still great. Not only have top drivers from various motorsport disciplines been signed up, but the team management can also look back on decades of experience.
Former DTM crack Jörg van Ommen and the successful Ferrari team around Michele Rinaldi are responsible for operational management. The Czech Gabriela JÃlková (CZE), Lucas Mauron from St. Gallen, Julien Apothéloz from Zurich and the Colombian Oscar Tunjo make up the driving line-up.
Kick-off race end of month
The international driver team will compete in the ADAC Prototype Cup Germany in the pairings Mauron/JÃlková and Tunjo/Apothéloz. They have proven in extensive tests that they are ready for the big responsibility. After further days of testing at the Hockenheimring, the kick-off race will take place at the same circuit.
The new project was made possible by the strategic partner Datalab under the patronage of Michael Leischnig. Datalab is one of the leading companies in the field of digital data management and operates high-performance server farms worldwide for applications in high-end performance computing. Downforce Motorsports is responsible for the financing and for the sporting development.
