Dominique Aegerter wants to make up for the overall victory in the MotoE World Cup that eluded him this year in familiar surroundings. He finished his rookie season in third place overall and received the bronze medal for his efforts last Sunday evening at the annual awards ceremony following the World Cup finale in Portimão.
Open invoice
Naturally, the 30-year-old motorcycle pro from Rohrbach is enormously pleased about the contract extension with his trusted crew from Dynavolt Intact GP. Especially since he can set himself the highest sporting goal in this category with them.
Dominique Aegerter: "Since we started working together last March, we have been a super team and have had a strong season with two wins and two third places. Unfortunately, there was a lot of bad luck at play at the end when I was shot down twice. Nevertheless, I finished third overall in the end. So we still have a score to settle for next year."
A special place for the first medal
The jovial Swiss is already in an attacking mood again.
Dominique Aegerter: "We will attack fully from the start and try to be at the front at every opportunity. It was an incredibly nice moment for me when I received the honor for third place overall at the awards ceremony last Sunday. It is my first medal in an FIM race series. Therefore, it will also get a special place."

Open wishes
Aegerter is grateful that the team managers at Dynavolt Intact GP continue to believe in him and give him this opportunity. That's why he also wants to give something back. Domi77 is therefore already thinking about next year.
Dominique Aegerter: "My crew remains unchanged, and with the good sponsors in the background I can rely on a strong package. This backing is important. So I can hardly wait to get back on the MotoE bike soon. Hopefully there will be some further developments on the bike over the winter months so that we can do a few more laps in the races, with a bit more power at the same time. And it would be nice if the bike itself becomes a little lighter. I would really like that."
