Together with the Porsche Carrera Cup France, the German racing series holds its first round at the Sarthe. At the other four events, the international one-make cup will run as part of the ADAC GT Masters program.

First digital, then real
The Carrera Cup already kicked off digitally on the Esports platform "RaceRoom" in June. The victory in both races in the virtual Autodrom of Most (CZ) was secured by the German Laurin Heinrich from the Porsche Center Bamberg.

Hurui Issak, Project Manager Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland: "We are delighted that we can now present a revised race calendar following our digital launch. With this, we are showing our teams and drivers perspectives for this challenging season in times of the Corona crisis. The round at Le Mans with the special flair of the endurance classic is an absolute highlight in this respect."

Twice three races per weekend
At the second and third stops of the season at the Sachsenring and the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, the Carrera Cup plans to run three races each weekend. At the Dutch Circuit Zandvoort and the finale at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, two races each are scheduled.

All races in the ADAC GT Masters are 30 minutes long. At the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland holds a single race lasting 45 minutes. All events take place under strict distance and hygiene regulations.

Opportunity for the next generation
In addition to the racing calendar, an Experience Day will again be offered on November 9. The event is aimed at talented motorsport drivers who are interested in competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland in the 2021 season.

On this day, the young drivers get the chance to get to know the teams of the one-make cup and to test the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup racing car. In addition to the racing teams, Porsche experts will also be available for discussions.
