Broad support
Formula Student is a student design competition in which teams from all over the world participate. The aim is to design and manufacture a single-seater formula racing car and compete in various international competitions. Since the start of Formula Student Germany in 2006, the BMW Group has been one of the main sponsors of the event at the Hockenheimring. In team sponsoring, the company supports the three teams not only financially, but also by providing mentoring. This results in a two-way transfer of know-how. In addition, the teams are given access to state-of-the-art production technologies.
