The trailer shows scenes from the final run in 2019 and should now also encourage NAT-licensed up to 28 years to participate.

By the entry deadline on January 13, only six entries had been received for the Swiss Race Academy 2020 or the Swiss Mountain Championship Junior. At least eight would be required. However, the organizer Driving Event Seelisberg would prefer far more, so that there is a real selection and talent promotion.

Also with NAT license
Up to now, only drivers up to 28 years of age who have never held a national license from Auto Sport Schweiz were admitted. This passage is suspended after consent of ASS and only exceptionally for a transition year.

While the age limit remains, previous finalists of the first three years and NAT-licensed, who previously drove in other categories, may now register at short notice. The head and co-owner of EventSeelisberg is enormously pleased about the concession of the sports authority.

Yves Meyer: "We had this in mind for some time as an emergency solution, because some national licensees had asked us. Therefore, we thank Auto Sport Schweiz for joining us for 2020 and shaping the future of this championship with us. Because the goal remains to bring young talent to the mountain and not to train experienced young racers. But we hope this opening, which is limited to one season, will be good publicity for this cause."

The Swiss Race Academy is led by Yves Meyer. As owner and managing director of the Eventcenter Seelisberg, he can also teach NAT-licensed athletes a lot about finding sponsors, marketing and communication.

Selection on Sunday, January 26
Interested parties must now hurry with the registration. This is until the evening of January 25 via the link Application form Swiss Race Academy 2020 possible.

On the following day, the selection will take place as planned at the Event Center Seelisberg. There is no question that the experienced people have to show more than the true rookies to be included in the circle of eight finalists. These will be allowed to fight for the title of Swiss Hill Climb Champion Junior 2020 at the hill climbs in Reitnau, Anzère, Oberhallau and Les Paccots.

All inclusive
Racing will be done with standardized Toyota GT86 Race (200 hp) according to Superseries regulations, rolling on Nexen road tires. The race vehicles will be centrally prepared, transported and serviced by Swiss Driving Event GmbH in Seelisberg.

Attendance at the sighting costs 185 Swiss francs, including lunch. For the complete racing season including two media days, test day, four races and the driver package including vehicle rental, 8865 Swiss francs must be raised.
