The vehicle designed for the new one-make cup is based on the Aston Martin Vantage V8. The Cup sports car is a high-performance racing version of the road-legal Vantage with a 4-liter twin-turbo V8. It is developed and manufactured by AF Racing, the parent company of R-Motorsport from Niederwil SG. The price for the basic version of the race-ready vehicle is around 250,000 euros plus local taxes.
Buy or rent
Four Cup racing series are planned worldwide over the next four years. The first races are already planned for 2020. Initially in Europe, from 2021 also in Asia. There is a maximum of 25 starting places in each series. The Cup vehicles will be sold to the participants, including spare parts. Alternatively, they will be made available to the drivers as part of special financing models. R-Motorsport provides the logistics, technical support and hospitality on site. Together with its partners, R-Motorsport is also currently developing an innovative storage and transportation solution for vehicles and spare parts, which will be presented in more detail at a later date.

The main focus of R-Motorsport's activities is the continuation of its involvement in the DTM and Blancpain GT series. Further plans and details on the future of motorsport will be announced at a later date.
