Swiss racing drivers taking part in the ADAC GT Masters and the support series are slowly beginning to plan their jumbled 2020 racing season. The start of the season in August marks the start of an extremely compact calendar with seven events and an unchanged format on the race weekends.

Kick-off in the Czech Republic
The first ADAC weekend will take place from July 31st to August 2nd in Most (CZ). If the races there are not possible due to official regulations or travel restrictions still in place, the ADAC GT Masters will switch to the Lausitzring on the same date.

The dates of the four events after the new late season opener remain unchanged. The second event will take place at the Nürburgring (August 14 to 16). This will be followed by a direct trip to the newly renovated Circuit Zandvoort in the Netherlands (August 21-23).

Hockenheim on the third weekend in September
The "home race" of the Swiss drivers, teams and many spectators, who are always more numerous there than anywhere else, will take place in Hockenheim from September 18 to 20. The event at the Sachsenring on the first weekend in October is also still on the revised 2020 calendar.

The Swiss team's "home game" is scheduled for the third weekend in September at the Hockenheimring.

The race originally scheduled for the beginning of June at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg (A) has been rescheduled and the ADAC racing series will now be held there from October 16 to 18. Finally, the race weekend at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben has been moved from the planned start of the season in April to the end of the season (October 23-25).

ADAC Head of Motorsport Thomas Voss: "The health and well-being of everyone involved and the spectators is our top priority. We will continue to keep a close eye on the situation and react flexibly where developments require it. "

With TCR, GT4, Porsche Cup and Formula 4
The ADAC TCR Germany will contest all seven events as part of the ADAC GT Masters support program. The ADAC GT4 Germany will continue to be part of the support program at six of the seven events. The Porsche Carrera Cup Germany and Formula 4 will also continue to be part of the support program.

All tickets purchased will remain valid for the rescheduled events. SPORT1 will broadcast all ADAC GT Masters races live and in full length on television.

The new dates at a glance. Whether it can stay that way for the first races depends on the authorities.

Online talk show instead of spring race
The new online talk show "PS on Air - The Ravenol ADAC GT Masters Talk" will continue to tide fans over in the coming weeks. Since April 5th, presenter Patrick Simon has been reporting on news and developments from the ADAC GT Masters and talking to drivers and team bosses every Sunday at 1pm.

You can watch the recording of the Easter Sunday program at this link Link. Previous and future broadcasts can be followed at youtube.com/adac, adac.de/motorsport, ravenol.de and on the ADAC GT Masters Facebook channel.
