The Audi RS3 LMS TCR promoting the Battle of Champions at the Dubai 24 Hours
The Audi RS3 LMS TCR is promoting the Battle of Champions in Dubai this week. Testing gets underway on Wednesday.

Finding sponsors is a new challenge for every Swiss motorsport driver every year. RacingFuel GmbH from Zurich, which operates its own Racing Academy in addition to trading in racing accessories, is now helping Swiss racers - no matter from which racing series - to supplement their budgets with luck and will.

Anyone who can show a RacingFuel sticker on their car can take part in the Battle of Champions. Registration is free, the actual competition runs mainly via Facebook.

Not only does it raise the company's own profile, but it also forces participants to list their other sponsors when they post on Facebook.

"The goal is to generate more buzz as a community among partners and sponsors, and thus be able to distribute more and more prizes. That's why all partners must be named in every post on Facebook. True to the motto ," explains Ferruccio Finkbohner, who runs RacingFuel GmbH with his brother Wani.

The winner of the main prize gets to use a new VW Golf free of charge for one year. This is provided by Autorama AG in Wetzikon. Other prizes include a personalized OMP overall and various vouchers for track days, helmet painting and much more.

In the pit of Stanco & Tanner Motorsport at the Dubai Autodrome, the Seat Leon TCR and the Audi are prepared for the upcoming race.

Good advertising at the Dubai 24 Hours
The starting signal is given this week with the 24 Hours of Dubai. The Audi RS3 LMS TCR from Stanco & Tanner Motorsport will be specially promoting it. This partnership is no coincidence. Stefan Tanner has been service manager at Autorama AG since September 1, 2017 and was able to win his new employer for this project.

On the touring car purchased by Tanner himself, the two team bosses alternate with Ralf Henggeler, runner-up in the 2017 Renault Classic Cup, and Briton Andrew Mollison. With a Seat Leon TCR, the Winterthur team has a second hot potato in the fire.

Adrian Wolf from Wolf-Power Racing (runner-up in the 2017 ADAC TCR Germany) is traveling along for technical support. Stefan Tanner: "We have never been so well prepared."
