The meeting will take place on the grounds of the Zulauf garden center in Schinznach-Dorf in Aargau. This is the home of the Schinznach Nursery Railways SchBB. What began in 1928 as a transport railroad is now a tourist attraction.
In eleven themed pictures, VW Beetles are shown in typical situations on the grounds: this includes the different model years, of course also beach versions as well as buggies or Beetles in racing. The Beetle Club Limmattal hopes that many visitors will come with their classic cars.
Opportunity to ride a steam train
Action is on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is free. And anyone who fancies a ride on a steam train can buy a ticket on the spot. Nine steam and six diesel locomotives with a gauge of 600 millimeters are in operation.
