VolXRoX rocks the Ford Transit
FORD Music from Büezern for Chrampfer, that's what VolXRoX, the quintet from the edge of the Emmental, offers. They have already given more than 100 concerts, but since the 2016 Swiss Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival and the festival anthem "Kampf ume Thron" things have really taken off. A Ford Transit has been on board since the very beginning. Organizers and fans can't [...]
Organizers and fans can't get enough of the five down-to-earth office boys: The weekends are therefore firmly planned into the fall. VolXRoX are Simu Lüthi (vocals, Örgeli), Alain Boog (vocals, piano), Pietro Catale (vocals, guitar), Edy Oberli (bass) and Küre Müller (drums). All five of them have both feet firmly planted in their working lives. With their sound with Örgeli, Boogie-Woogie and melodic Country-Rock they inspire their fans. VolXRoX offers music from the people for the people, real "Wörker Musig", as they say themselves.
Suitable vehicle
Now the troupe gets support from the Ford Transit, which is also a real trouper when it comes to large loads and distances. Instruments, lamps, mixer, fog machine - a lot of material is needed for a successful performance. "I'm thrilled with all the space the Ford Transit gives us. Despite its size and payload, it drives pleasantly, almost like a PW," says Simu Lüthi, singer and Örgeli player. The Transit is very popular with wörkers in Switzerland and Europe anyway: no other manufacturer sells more commercial vehicles in Europe than Ford.
Latest technology on board
The new Ford Transit is not only equipped with the latest EcoBlue 2.0 liter diesel engine, but also with state-of-the-art assistance systems. For example, the crosswind assistant ensures lane stability and the emergency braking system also detects pedestrians. Of course, the Transit is also available with all-wheel drive and automatic transmission.
From professionals for professionals
By office workers for carpenters - that could also be the motto of the new Transit. Ford worked closely with craftsmen during development and testing. During the test phase alone, selected customers covered hundreds of thousands of kilometers under real everyday conditions.
