In two secret voting rounds, the Volvo XC40 came out on top against the BMW X2, Peugeot 508, Jaguar I-Pace and E-Pace. The criteria that women apply when buying a car are safety, value for money, appearance, storage space, child-friendliness, driving comfort and environmental characteristics, as well as color choice and sex appeal.

And these data have certainly also contributed to the good rating. With a volume of 460 liters up to the top edge of the backrests, the Volvo XC40 has one of the largest load compartments in its class. And that's not all: the Harman Kardon premium audio system has 13 speakers for perfectly balanced, powerful sound and the optional 360° camera makes parking easier thanks to a bird's eye view of the vehicle and its surroundings. Prices start at 36,500 Swiss francs.
