The Swiss Volvo Club is looking forward to this year's international Volvo Meeting with great anticipation. Not without pride, the association notes that only one major Volvo meeting in Europe has so far succeeded in demonstrating even greater continuity than the Swiss Volvo Meeting. Only the Volvo Rendezvous & Owners Meeting in Gothenburg - in the brand's home country - has been around longer.
Focus 164s and Cross Country
In the run-up to the event, Stephan Würsten, founder of the Swiss Volvo Meeting and president of the IG Swiss Volvo association, emphasizes that every Volvo passenger car and off-road model is welcome at the major event - regardless of age. The event will take place at the Event Center in Seelisberg in the Lake Lucerne Region. In particular, "50 years of Volvo 164" will be celebrated, and in addition, the theme "Volvo Cross Country" will be presented.
