Volvo: armchair backs at the Swiss top

The joint venture will thus become a new player in the growing global market for autonomous driving and road safety technologies. Dennis Nobelius, current Managing Director of Volvo Switzerland, has been appointed CEO of the new company based in Gothenburg, Sweden, and will take up his new position at the end of September this year. Domenico Gaito, current Director Sales, will take over the role of MD at Volvo Switzerland on an interim basis. The new company will develop driver assistance systems (ADAS) and technologies for autonomous driving, which will be used in new Volvo vehicles, but can also be purchased by all other car manufacturers via Autoliv.
The new MD of Volvo Switzerland will be appointed at a later date.
