Since its public premiere in February 2018, over 2200 XC40s have already been ordered in Switzerland. The success of the new XC40 is also reflected in the current, successful financial year of Volvo Switzerland with 5300 vehicle registrations at the end of August, an increase of over 13 percent compared to the previous year.
Flowers and safety driving training
Central Garage in Basel organized a ceremonial handover to mark the delivery. The visibly happy, long-standing Volvo customer Peter Wiesner received flowers, champagne and a voucher for a Volvo winter safety driving course in addition to the key to the XC40. Peter Wiesner: "I'm really looking forward to my new car. The XC40 is the ideal model for me."
