Michael Manousakis and his team prepare vehicles and parts for sale.
The show first aired back in 2014. In the meantime, several seasons have been released, which revolve around the company of Michael Manousakis. The entrepreneur's business model is a very special one.
Exclusive contract with the U.S. Army
The trained merchant has an exclusive contract with the U.S. Army. Under the terms of the contract, he has to buy up all their old equipment. Among them are mainly vehicles, but also other items from everyday military use. Everything can be viewed on a site in the small village of Peterslahr between Montabaur and Bonn near the A3.
Customers are dealers and private
Michael Manousakis has surrounded himself with a team dedicated solely to sorting and cataloging the items purchased from the army and preparing them for sale to dealers and private individuals, including Swiss. However, many of the vehicles and other parts are first stored on Morlock Motors' premises before the right buyer is found, often at auction.
When it comes to doing business with partners, Julie-Cristie Neal is there to help negotiate.
Partner in United States
Morlock Motors additionally specializes in repairing or restoring military and civilian vehicles from the United States. That is why there is also a workshop on the company premises.
In addition to purchases from the army, the managing director is always tempted to buy unusual vehicles. Some of the unique specimens are presented in the shows.
Michael Manousakis and his Steel Buddies are pretty cool dogs, but the show wouldn't be half as good if Steel Buddies lady Julie-Cristie Neal didn't liven up an episode or two. She's responsible for purchasing material overseas. Fans can watch the two pros go about their business each Tuesday.
AutoSprintCH wishes you a lot of fun.
