Until recently, the organizers from Messe Friedrichshafen were still in good spirits. They were counting on the fact that the popular car festival Tuning World Bodensee could be held without any restrictions.
However, the crisis that is currently dominating everything is now throwing a spanner in the works.
Trade fair managing director Klaus Wellmann: "Planning and implementing a major event of the caliber of Tuning World Bodensee is like a powerful V8 engine without fuel - it just doesn't run."
Health and economic risks
Since today everyone is lacking a ray of light on the planning horizon and thus numerous questions simply cannot be answered, the uncertainty seemed too great to the trade fair. After all, health and economic risks are currently incalculable.
So, with a heavy heart, it was decided early on that the responsibility would not take place this year.
Continuation of the Tuning Reunion in October
The organizers do have one ray of hope to offer. On October 2 and 3 this year, there will be the continuation of the Tuning Reunion, the alternative end-of-season event launched last year. By next fall, the situation should probably have improved.
In addition, the new date for the next Tuning World Bodensee has already been set: May 26-29, 2022.
