The Bellamy Brothers have proven several times in Interlaken that they know what real truckers like
For many truckers, it is "the three most beautiful days of the year". In 2018, a new look and the musical reorientation ensured a record attendance of 55,000 fans for the anniversary. The aim is to build on this success this year.
Traditional American Country Night
On Friday, June 28, the organizers are once again focusing entirely on local fare with Best of CH. The acts on this evening are the Zurich (with Colombian roots) Loco Escrito, the Bernese chart strikers Lo & Leduc ("079") and the Lucerne dialect folk singer Kunz.
Saturday, June 29, is reserved for the traditional American Country Night. The three top acts from the States this year are the women's group Farewell Angelina, Heidi Newfield from California and the legendary Bellamy Brothers, who are almost part of the inventory in Interlaken.
Every year on Sunday evening at 6 pm it sounds... the legendary lifting concert of over 1000 trucks in the Truck Mile. Goosebumps guaranteed!
Biker meeting and line dance XXL party
You can also look forward to the authentic Western City, attractions, lots of line dancing, more than 30 bands and show acts, biker gatherings and, above all, the conviviality among the truckers who make the former airfield the most unusual campground in Switzerland.
The highlight for line dancers will take place on Sunday with the "Line Dance XXL", when again a thousand visitors will dance together to one song.
Most diverse bands from all over the world
The stages towards the marquee and the village center present different country, rock and hillbilly bands from all over the world (but also from Switzerland). Other attractions are the Wild West Girls, who will encourage you to dance and cheer along on the show stage, and Francesco Martini, the giant cowboy, who will show how to handle a lasso or throwing knives. So this year's festival will be quite dashing again.
