In its ninth year, the Seat Music Session can count on a dedicated fan community. This year, too, a colorful bouquet of artists and musical styles awaits the audience.
Every autumn
Since 2009, the Seat Music Session has been touring through various Swiss cities every fall. The concert series with the intimate 360° atmosphere has meanwhile established itself as an absolute "must" for fans of live soul-funk-jazz-rock. The event with its wide range of music always takes place in the middle of the concert hall. Talented musicians are brought together with exceptional singers on stage.
International artists
From Austin Texas/USA, for example, comes singer and songwriter Roger Blevins Jr, who mixes funk, R&B, soul, rock and pop in a unique way. At his first European appearance in Switzerland, the sound of the South will resonate in his deep, raspy voice. The rapping songwriter Teesy, "the man with the bow tie", convinces live right away. So he was allowed, as the first German artist, to release an exclusive iTunes session. With just as much charisma, singer Jennie Lena inspires with her mix of pop, soul and blues. The great voice of the red-haired Dutchwoman already swept the judges of "The Voice" in the Netherlands off their feet in 2015. The warm voice of Swiss singer and songwriter Ishantu also causes goosebumps. London-born Stephanie Sounds writes her songs herself and sings them with a passion that comes from deep within her heart. Last but not least Phil Dankner, the well-known artist, singer and songwriter, orchestrates the whole thing as Art & Musical Director and leads through the evening on the piano.
