Seat: A very special Christmas surprise
Seat came up with something very special for 28 students from the Marillac School in Barcelona: At the Seat plant in Martorell, where more than 2,000 vehicles are produced every day, presents came off the assembly line for the first time just a few days before the Christmas vacations. The students visited the plant as part of a field trip and looked at the manufacturing process [...]
The students visited the plant as part of a field trip and viewed the manufacturing process of a vehicle up close. Time and again during their visit, gifts randomly appeared in several places on the assembly line, the robot station, the intelligent plant vehicles, and some were even handed over by the company employees themselves.
"I guess Santa was here last night!" was what the children got to hear as they discovered new gifts among the various vehicle parts along the assembly line until they reached the final station, where a Seat Leon was waiting for them, filled with science and technology-based educational toys for everyone.
The initiative is part of Seat's commitment to promoting young talent and educational projects. 185 up-and-coming talents are currently learning and studying there with the possibility of later becoming part of the company's workforce.
