The need for efficient and safe work equipment for working at heights or in places that are sometimes very difficult to access was recognized early on. Thanks to innovative ideas and solutions, the UP Group is currently the clear number 1 in Switzerland when it comes to the use of mobile elevating work platforms and work platforms or the rental of such equipment, whether for one hour or for use over several weeks.

In the past, many transports could still be carried out with 4×2 vehicles, but today there are already 4-axle vehicles in the fleet. Not only has the mobile equipment become ever larger and more powerful, but the weight has also increased, meaning that even 8×2 vehicles now have to pay attention to every kilogram of unladen weight in order to be able to transport the new and most powerful equipment safely to the next place of work without coming into conflict with the law. Today, the company's own heavy-duty fleet consists of around 50 percent transport vehicles and 50 percent work platforms.
