Renault: This electric zebra is a Twizy

Visually, the Twizy is recognizable as a member of the Zoo family with its zebra-look foiling, and it is particularly unobtrusive when driving: its electric drive produces neither exhaust nor noise emissions, making it suitable for use on the 27-hectare site.
The Twizy is mainly used by employees of the zoo. Occasionally, the buzzing zebra will also be used for CO2-free journeys to meetings.
Small, maneuverable, emission-free, almost silent
Claude Gregorini, Country Operations Director of Renault Suisse SA: "The zoo has been a trademark of Zurich since 1929, which is why we are particularly pleased about this collaboration. With the Twizy, we have the perfect vehicle for the zoo's requirements: it is small and maneuverable, emission-free, almost silent and easy to operate. Once all the journeys have been made, it can simply be recharged at the household socket."
Dr. Severin Dressen, Director of Zurich Zoo, adds: "We are delighted about the cooperation with Renault. Sustainability in mobility is also a key issue for us as a nature conservation center."
