The approximately 170,000-square-meter site at the heart of the racetrack houses a customer experience center, a handling track, driving dynamics areas and an off-road course.
Experience Porsche models
The Porsche Experience Center Hockenheimring offers its visitors - among whom there are bound to be quite a few from Switzerland - challenging driving opportunities under highly professional conditions. Customers can experience the latest Porsche models alongside experienced instructors: either in the passenger seat, behind the wheel, or during individual coaching sessions.
A 2.8 km handling track was created for the driving programs - with challenging curves and long straights. There are also a variety of dynamic driving surfaces, such as a skid plate or circular tracks.
Customers can test the off-road capabilities of the Cayenne and Macan SUV models on the off-road course. This covers an area of 5200 square meters and a total of 17 modules.
Large event space
The customer experience center covers an area of 4500 square meters. The architecture is based on the established design of the existing Experience Centers. The building complex includes a 1000 square meter event area with event and meeting rooms that can be rented.

The facility also includes workshops and a vehicle display area of more than 800 square meters. The fast-charging infrastructure also takes into account the increasing importance of hybrid vehicles and the requirements of the first all-electric Porsche, the Taycan.
Important for Hockenheim
Porsche Deutschland GmbH implemented the project together with the emodrom-group, which is responsible for the strategic further development of the Hockenheimring.
Thomas Reister, Managing Director emodrom-group: "The opening of the new Porsche Experience Center is a forward-looking step for the Hockenheimring. The Porsche brand is an excellent fit for our tradition-steeped racetrack and our further plans for the mobility center in the middle of Europe."
