Porsche: Show your colors on the wrist
HISTORIC PAINT COLORS Porsche Design is expanding the design spectrum of its Custom-built Timepieces program to include 114 historic model colors. Customers can now order colorful vehicle paints from the 1990s.
The new historical colors of the ring around the dial of the watches include, for example, Gulf blue, star ruby and mint green - mostly colorful shades from the 1990s that enjoy cult status among sports car enthusiasts.
With the specially developed configurator, drivers can tailor their Porsche Design Chronotimer to their own personal vehicle.
Instrument cluster like in a 911
The dial is visually based on the instrument cluster and tachometer of the 911, and other parts of the chronograph also feature details such as a winding rotor in the shape of an alloy wheel or the central clasp with the company crest. Also available are various bracelets whose material and color options match the interior of the Porsche 911.
Customize and order clock
To round off the design, contrast stitching made of genuine Porsche automotive yarn can be selected in any color from the sports car range. Porsche speaks of several million possibilities. In addition to configuration via the Timepieces configurator on the Internet, interested parties can also design and order their individual watch as part of a vehicle consultation at participating Porsche Centers worldwide.
