Handover of keys at autobau Romanshorn

The traditional New Year's reception on the first Sunday in January was the fitting occasion to celebrate the "change of power" at the helm of autobau in Romanshorn with a symbolic handover of the keys in front of invited guests. Due to the voluntary departure of the long-time managing director Raffael Soppelsa, a personnel situation arose which is now solved in an ideal way with the son of the same name of founder Fredy Lienhard as the new man at the top of the company.
Fredy A. Lienhard: "It happened that way. I was just in a new phase of my life, as I retired from operational management as a partner of the Rent4Ring company at the Nürburgring and hired a new managing director. I am happy to return to my home country and to be able to continue and expand my father's life's work. "
38-year-old Fredy Alexander Lienhard takes over the management of an already well-functioning team. He is also responsible for all management tasks. On average, he still plans to spend one week per month at the Nürburgring with Rent4Ring (www.rent4ring.de) spend.
His father still takes care of his impressive vehicle collection, which can be admired in Romanshorn along with many loans. That still takes up about a quarter of his time, he says. "I'm happy that we can do it this way now that I've already put my older daughter in charge of Lista Office."
A novelty: continuous opening hours in summer
In 2017, around 16,000 people visited the autobau, and around 400 events were on the program. Good numbers, but Lienhard jr. wants to raise the general level even more and therefore already has first ideas. "The autobau is a pearl that, as we all know, no longer needs to be polished. But I want to raise the level of awareness. There's still a lot of potential in it."
In the future, he wants to place more emphasis on his own events such as concerts, lectures, etc., in order to boost ticket sales. More attention is to be drawn to the existence of various small museums on Lake Constance and cooperation is to be sought.
In addition, the autobau will be open daily for several weeks for the first time next summer. Until then, the doors will continue to be open only every Sunday (10-17 h) and Wednesday (16-20 h) or by special arrangement.
