When choosing a suitable car, the focus was on comfort and safety for passengers, but also on environmental considerations. Pascal Dupertuis: "For most journeys, I cover short distances that I can drive purely electrically. This provides additional comfort for the customers by reducing noise, the environment is protected and I can minimize my expenses for the maintenance of the vehicle and the luggage can also be stowed easily."
Successful technology flagship
With the launch of the Outlander PHEV in 2013, Mitsubishi presented a new vehicle segment, as the plug-in hybrid Outlander was the world's first 4×4 plug-in hybrid SUV. The sales success of over 100,000 vehicles sold across Europe shows that the model has successfully established itself on the market. In Switzerland, the Outlander PHEV leads the sales statistics in its segment.
Low consumption and emission levels
Five years after its market launch and update for the 2019 model year, the plug-in hybrid Outlander has become the brand's flagship model. The environmentally friendly model scores with a fuel consumption of 1.8 liters per 100 kilometers and CO2 emissions of 40 g/km.
The Outlander PHEV also maintains this low level of fuel consumption and emissions in the new WLTP measurement procedure. The Outlander PHEV is one of the first plug-in hybrids to pass the WLTP procedure. The SUV achieved an emission value of 46 g/km and a maximum electric range of 45 kilometers.
