After the royal wedding on May 19, this one-off design by Mini will be presented to the Children's HIV Association (CHIVA), one of the charities selected by the bride and groom, and thus donated to a good cause.

CHIVA will subsequently sell the Mini in a public auction.

Oliver Heilmer, Head of Mini Design: "As an iconic British brand with almost 60 years of history in the UK, we are delighted to be able to hand over this special Mini to charity on the occasion of the royal wedding. The Mini design team has added a specially designed and intricately painted roof graphic to this unique piece, as well as the 3D printed personalized interior and exterior details to make it truly one-of-a-kind."

The design team put a lot of time and heart and soul into designing the royal Mini.

The unique 3-door shines in crystal white on the occasion of the wedding, with blue-silver paint accents in stripes that give the body an individual look. In addition, the all-round black band has been painted in blue-tinted silver matt.

The classic Mini design icons in chrome, such as the surround of the hexagonal radiator grille, the door handles and the surrounds of the headlights and taillights, are covered with a black-blue tinted clearcoat, giving the Mini modernity and freshness in detail.

Tail lights in a Union Jack design and rims in a dark blue metallic hue are the finishing touches to the Mini's look.

The elaborately designed roof graphic is striking. It combines elements of the national flags of the bride and groom.

Handmade roof graphic and 3D printing
A particular highlight of the exterior is the multicolored painted roof: the graphics were applied in several layers in a complex handcrafted process. It combines elements of the national flags of Prince Harry (Union Jack) and Meghan Markle (Stars and Stripes stripes).

The blue-black tinted clearcoat of the chrome elements in the exterior is also found on selected chrome surrounds in the interior. The large decorative strip in front of the front passenger seat features the first names of the bride and groom, the wedding date and congratulations to the bride and groom.

Another special feature of the interior is an accent that picks up on the roof graphic. This graphic element is found on the trim strips in the doors, behind the steering wheel and embroidered on the headrests as an abstraction of the Union Jack on one side and the Stars and Stripes as perforations and quilting on the other.
