This short film says more than a thousand words - assembling and playing with the Lego McLaren seems like fun.

The model is the first supercar from McLaren, which was recreated in Lego Technic form. In the series of less elaborate and less expensive versions of Lego Speed Champions already have models of the McLaren P1, 720S and Senna.

Close cooperation designers
Made up of 830 parts, the McLaren Senna GTR features a faithful V8 engine with moving pistons and opening V-shaped doors after assembly, as well as the special blue paint job.

The design director of McLaren Automotive in Woking (GB) is just as proud of the new Technic model as he is of the real car.

Robert Melville: "The team responsible for the design of the McLaren Senna GTR worked closely with their Lego Group design colleagues to capture the extreme look, allure and essence of such an incredible supercar for the designers of the Lego Technic model."

Amazingly similar supercars: the 814-hp original and the Technic model of the McLaren Senna GTR.

Available in Switzerland after Christmas
Lego recommends the 32-centimeter-long model for home builders ages ten and up.

According to the Swiss online portal of Lego (here the direct link), the McLaren Senna GTR model will be available from 26 December at a price of Fr. 59.90.
