Next generation technology
The RX-Vision is a concept car based on Mazda's Kodo-Soul of Motion design. The challenge was to create the most beautiful front-engine, rear-wheel-drive sports car Mazda could have dreamed up.
This car is powered by a next-generation Wankel engine. A dream that Mazda wants to make come true in the future.
787B engine concept is basis
To meet the body requirements of the GT3 class, the design draws on the engine concept from the 787B, which has reactivated a 4-disc Wankel engine using Skyactiv technology. This new Wankel engine is embedded in a lightweight body for optimum performance.
