Experience the most important automotive milestones in the history of Maserati and enjoy the sound.

Before the flat flounder MC20 with 630 hp was chosen as the "China Performance Car of the Year 2021" by a jury of 41 representatives of the automotive media, the hand-built 325 km/h fast bolide, which costs 220,000 Swiss francs in its basic version, was to score points with fans and customers of the brand in and around Zurich.

An easy task for the Italian, because the two-seater developed by the Maserati Innovation Lab and built at the main plant in Modena is 100 percent made in Italy.

Derivation of the technology from Formula 1
The V6 Nettuno engine, which allows the MC20 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.9 seconds, was developed, designed and built entirely by Maserati. It uses technology derived from Formula 1.

There will also be a version with purely electric drive. It is expected to offer a range of around 380 kilometers. The top speed here is over 310 km/h. The sprint to 100 km/h will be completed in 2.8 seconds, and 200 km/h in 8.4 seconds.

MC20
The first Swiss appearance of the MC20 took place in Dübendorf in a building next to the runway of the airport.

Three body variants go into production
The monocoque of the MC20 is made of carbon and was developed together with partner Dallara. It was developed from the outset for all three planned body styles: Coupé, convertible and the future electric version.

The look is the same for all three versions, but the structural features differ: The coupe focuses on lightness, the convertible on torsional rigidity, and the electric version has extra protection for the battery.

Black leather, carbon inlays or Alcantara
The cockpit design has focused on the driving functions - nothing should distract from driving. There are only a few sharp corners and edges. Dark colors dominate to avoid reflections on the windshield.

There is a 10.25-inch instrument display and a central display of the same size. The start button is also located on the thick steering wheel. In addition to a version with black leather and carbon inlays, an Alcantara variant is also available.

For each operating mode there is a special color
In the carbon clad center tunnel there is a round drive mode selector that shimmers slightly dark blue. There are five modes: Wet, GT, Sport, Corsa and ESP off. Each mode is assigned a color.

After starting, the GT mode is active, which is intended for everyday use. The other modes are activated by turning or pressing (Corsa and ESP Off) the selector wheel.

The settings influence the accelerator pedal characteristic curve, the shifting characteristics, the chassis and the ESP. In Corsa mode, the driver can activate Launch Control via the steering wheel button.

Mode selector enables adjustment of the chassis
A button in the center of the drive mode selector allows the suspension to be adjusted. Pressing the button makes the shock absorbers more comfortable. This is particularly useful in Sport and Corsa modes, as well as on bumps.

We are looking forward to the first kilometers.
