Since its first edition in 2013, the Design Award has served as a platform for emerging designers from around the world to create something that enables a better future for all. The annual event has attracted thousands of creative talents striving to win the coveted award for their work.
The six best ideas reach the final
Participants in the Lexus Design Awards must develop innovative designs that reveal fresh, imaginative solutions. At the same time, the ideas and designs should engage and captivate the audience and the jury. The six finalists will be announced in early 2019. The jury will select the six best ideas so that functional prototypes can then be developed. The production budget is around CHF 25,000. The prototypes will be presented at Milan Design Week 2019 and will compete to win the coveted Grand Prix. Entries for the Lexus Design Award 2019 will be accepted from now until October 28, 2018.
