The Lexus Design Award has seen a steady increase in participants since its inception in 2013. This year, the aim is to create new designs against the backdrop of Anticipate, Innovate and Captivate.
Budget for concepts of 22 000 francs
In early 2020, the finalists will be selected by a distinguished jury of design professionals. They will take part in an exclusive mentoring program in New York City under the guidance of prominent designers. There, each of them will be able to create a prototype of their design concept with a budget of around 22,000 Swiss francs, which will be shown at Milan Design Week 2020 (April 21-26, 2020).
Finally, the winner of the 2020 Lexus Design Award will be announced in Milan. Lexus is accepting applications until October 14, 2019.
