The centerpiece is the Land Rover Experience Center in Wülfrath near Düsseldorf. The "Defender Days" are held there on ten dates. On the 120,000-square-meter off-road site and during cross-country drives, instructors introduce the basics of 4×4 driving in theory and practice. The event lasts four hours with drinks and a packed lunch.
Night drives at dusk and darkness
Those who want even more adventure romance can sign up for the "Night Drives" at dusk and darkness with campfire and barbecue on individual dates. The Defender Days take place on ten Saturdays between June and the end of October, subject to incidence.
Prices start from 130 euros per main participant, accompanying persons who can also drive are included from 50 euros.
Camping with workshops and outdoor cooking
The adventure camps in Wülfrath promise an even more intensive experience during the Defener Xperience summer. Alone, as a couple or for the whole family - over one and a half days, participants experience a "Land Rover Experience Tour light" with on- and off-road driving fun as well as outdoor camping with workshops and open-air cooking. Dag Rogge, adventurer, globetrotter and founder and managing director of the Land Rover Experience in Germany, will also be there.
The Adventure Camps are planned on altogether seven weekends in July and August. The price amounts to 499 euro per main participant, companions are with 249 euro, children starting from eleven years with 99 euro and children starting from six years from 79 euro thereby (www.landrover-experience.de/events/adventure-camps).
On request with roof tent and camping accessories
Like last year, Land Rover is also offering the "Try & Rent" program. Starting at 99 euros per day, the Defender 110 can be rented in Wülfrath or at participating dealers - if desired, also with a roof tent and other accessories. The rental period ranges from one day for an XXL test drive over a weekend from Friday to Monday and a whole week from Monday to Monday up to a maximum of three weeks.
