The video shows what fans of James Bond and Land Rover can expect in the new film starting in April
If need be, the new Land Rover Defender can also fly. In the new TV commercial, the new generation of the all-wheel-drive legend performs spectacular stunts that were filmed for the upcoming James Bond movie "No Time To Die.
Jessica Hawkins shows daring stunts
These stunts and the tests on heart and kidneys took over the English racing driver Jessica Hawkins (AutoSprintCH reported), who is otherwise active in Formula 3 W. In the new 007 smash hit, she then has her first assignment on the big screen. She is thrilled: "There's nothing more exciting than being a stunt driver in a Bond movie. And it means an honor to me that I get to drive the new Defender in this film."
Cooperation with Eon Productions
Jaguar Land Rover has been working with the makers of the hit James Bond films at Eon Productions for decades. In 1983, a Land Rover model celebrated its premiere on the big screen: a Range Rover convertible in the 007 film Octopussy. The current film features ten new Defender models and the Land Rover Series III, as well as a Range Rover Sport SVR and the Range Rover Classic.
German-speaking Switzerland starts on April 2, 2020
Universal Pictures International and Metro Goldwyn Mayer will release the film worldwide in early April 2020. In German-speaking Switzerland, the film is scheduled for release on April 2. However, interested parties will have to wait a few weeks longer for the new Land Rover Defender.
