Most popular body speakers for vehicles
Blaupunkt developed and produced the legendary spherical speaker from 1973 to 1986. At the time, the Blaupunkt LAZ 6525 with its peak power of ten watts was one of the most popular body speakers for vehicles. Now it is coming back as a Globe Speaker model for owners of older vehicles.
With the retro box, Blaupunkt has buyers in mind who have always wanted speaker balls to screw onto the trunk lid or whose original LAZ 6525 has passed away.
Drilling template and screws are supplied
The speaker is equipped with a 3.5-inch full-range driver. The manufacturer specifies the nominal power handling with 25 watts at an impedance of four ohms, and the frequency response with 100 to 20,000 hertz. For comparison: The original only had a peak power of ten watts.
The swivel base allows the speaker to be rotated to the desired position.
