As a Porsche Classic Partner, the Porsche Center Zurich continues to expand its classic expertise in the field of young and classic cars. One way is to train the employees already on staff, the other is to recruit further experienced experts for the center.
Integration successful
Both have now been achieved at once with the integration of Brack Autogarage and the entry of Ruedi Brack into AMAG. Ruedi Brack was looking for a succession plan for his garage and so it happened that two Porsche enthusiasts were able to come together. Brack Autogarage, which had been based in Urdorf since 1980, had always dealt with classic cars of various makes. Since 1999, their main focus has been on the Porsche brand, and here specifically on the 356 series models from 1948 to 1964.
Theme 911
But the early 911s have also become a topic. In addition to total restorations, Ruedi Brack's strength lies in reconditioning mechanical components such as the engine, transmission, steering or chassis. In his career as a car and racing mechanic, he has worked on around 250 Porsche 356 models. He will now bring this expertise to the Porsche Center Zurich and pass on his knowledge to Classic Mechanic Marco Salza.
Family addition
The family father also brings son Marco Brack to the Porsche Center. In 2013, the latter joined the family business out of a particular interest in classic vehicles. Here he worked hand in hand with his father in the office and was a valuable support for mechanical work. Marco Brack has already been working part-time at the Schlieren site since May and full-time from October.
