Jaguar: Electric and virtual in the race 🎥

SUPERSPORT CAR Following the Vision GT Coupé and Vision GT SV models, Jaguar completes its trilogy of models for realistic racing experiences with the electric, single-seat Vision Gran Turismo Roadster.

With the Vision Gran Turismo Roadster, Jaguar has unveiled its third virtual gaming sports car. Following the success of the Vision Gran Turismo Coupé and the Vision Gran Turismo SV, the last member of the electric racing car trio is now being launched to coincide with the launch of Gran Turismo 7.

The new Roadster is an all-electric single-seater that combines the coupe's race-proven powertrain with a streamlined, sculpted shape and iconic design cues from the three-time Le Mans-winning Jaguar D-Type.

Customized painting for each vehicle
To honor the now complete Vision GT trilogy, the Jaguar design team has developed a bespoke livery for each Vision GT vehicle. Black and gray colors and subtle graphics accentuate the design of the dream sports cars.

Says Oliver Cattel-Ford, Exterior Designer at Jaguar Advanced Design, "For a car designer, it was a dream come true to be part of a team that got to create three virtual cars for the Gran Turismo series. The visual effect is dramatic and would make a big impression on any road or track in the world."

Acceleration to 100 km/h in just under two seconds
The Roadster is designed to give console gamers the real driving experience of a Jaguar sports car with an open cockpit. It is powered by three electric motors with a total output of more than 750 kW and a maximum torque of 1200 Nm.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is completed in less than two seconds, and the top speed is 320 km/h. The roadster's lightweight and extremely torsionally stiff monocoque body was made from carbon fiber composites and aluminum alloys.
