Ford is holding a competition at Gamescom in Cologne, which starts tomorrow, where the winners can drive a Focus RS on the racetrack.

Between August 22 and 26, players will have the opportunity to compete against real lap times of a professional driver in the Cologne exhibition halls.

Professional rider puts forward
The aim is to keep up with the times of the Ford Chip Ganassi Racing driver, Harry Tincknell. He set these at the race track in Spa, Belgium, in a real Ford Focus RS. The fastest contestants will then be flown by helicopter to a test track on August 23, 24 and 25 to experience the Ford Focus RS for themselves - including coaching from Le Mans racer Tincknell. In addition, winners will receive a pair of Recaro seats and prizes from B & O PLAY.

Ford trade show appearance
As part of Ford's presence at the show, there will be additional opportunities to win a driving experience with the Ford Focus RS. Booth visitors can share selfies on a specially set up GIF station and win attractive prizes.

As in the game
The Ford Focus RS is part of the Xbox console game Forza Motorsport 6. Also available in the game is the Ford GT ultra-high performance supercar, which graces the game packaging and is driven as a real race car in the FIA Endurance Championships by Harry Tincknell. At the Ford stand in Hall 8 of the Cologne Exhibition Center, the company will also be showing the Ford Focus RS, the new Ford Fiesta ST-Line and, as a highlight, the Ford GT.
