Racing for the general public
Formula V AG was founded last October by Swiss entrepreneur and investor Francisco Fernandez (AutoSprintCH reported) and aims to open up automotive racing to the general public with Formula 1 simulators.
In the high-tech simulators manufactured in Maranello, digitalized race tracks such as Monza, Spa-Francorchamps or the Nürburgring can be driven realistically. The first Racing Lounge opened in Cham in April, with another to follow in Zurich in August.
The opening of the first foreign lounge is planned for the fall in Frankfurt. The Formula V Swiss Championship is endowed with over 100,000 Swiss francs.
No luck with the KDC Racing Team
With this commitment, Monisha Kaltenborn (48) is making another attempt to position herself in motorsport. After leaving Sauber Motorsport AG, she founded the KDC Racing Team, which competed in the German and Italian Formula 4 championships.
A few months later, however, it was over, the team went bankrupt after the team's director, Monegasque Emily Grace Di Comberti (formerly named Mr. Jean-Patrick Guy Phillipe Mourenon Di Comberti, transgender woman and professional golfer), had to declare bankruptcy, presumably because of previous debts to other teams.
